Michael A. Muto CPA/PFS, CVA

Michael understands that strong business relationships are earned through hard-work, responsiveness, knowledge and integrity. He strives to offer this approach to each of his diverse group of clients.

Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island in 1986. Upon graduation, Michael began his career in the public accounting profession concentrating on offering closely held businesses tax, accounting and auditing services. After working together for eight years, Michael joined Matthew as a partner of Muto,Vollucci & Co., Ltd. in 1997.

In 2000, Michael became more involved in the financial and estate planning role, earning Series 7, Series 66 and insurance licenses. Furthering his education as a financial advisor, he earned his Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) certification in 2006. Fewer than 50 CPAs hold this designation in Rhode Island.

Professional service firms and company executives often look to Michael to help them with divorce, dissenting stockholder issues, and stock and partnership interest conveyances, all of which require an in depth knowledge of the intricacies of business valuations. Accordingly, in 2007, Michael earned the designation of Certified Valuations Analyst (CVA) from the National Association of Certifed Valuation Analysts.

When Michael is not at work, he is likely spending time at his North Kingstown home with his wife, Linda, son, Mike and dog Gucci.[/threecol_two_last]

Matthew L. Vollucci, Jr. CPA, MBA – Retired 5/15/17

Matthew’s combined personal, business and professional experiences have allowed him to develop a seasoned, practical approach to dealing with situations typical in providing advisory services to small and medium sized businesses. Matthew serves as the accounting and auditing technical partner for the firm with more than 35 years of accounting and auditing experience.

Matthew has been a member of the AICPA, as well as Rhode Island Society of CPAs, since 1976. He is licensed to practice in Rhode Island. He has been Team Captain for many AICPA and New England Peer Reviews. Matthew served a three-year national appointment for the AICPA Accounting and Review Services Committee. He has also served many terms as a committee chair and a term as a member of the Board of Directors for the Rhode Island Society of CPAs. He received his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the University of Rhode Island.

Grandfather of eight, including triplets, Matthew spends all of his non-business hours with his family assisting the real power, his wife, Karen. He shares his love of gauge 1 garden railway trains with the children. Sometimes he even has time for himself. On those rare occasions, he likes to get his hands dirty creating landscapes on his property.
